Dumb question, when turning the front lowering bolts, which way do they turn. My eyes aren't as good as they used to be and I can't tell it the threads are right handed or left handed. Thanks for you help. David
Sorry, no magic formula, different for different cars. I lowered mine as far as the screws would turn and only got 3/4" in front. My buddy did the same and got 1 1/4"...... and I think Evil Twin got like 3".
It's a trial and error thing....

I have the Z51 suspension does this affect how far the car will lower? How many miles did you drive before alignment?
It might, but you will just have to turn the screws and see what you get. I tease Evil Twin cause he was lucky enough to turn the screws and "Waala" super low. In my case I had to cut the front bushings and add longer bolts in the rear to get where he got with just turning the screws....
The deal with alignment is to wait until you have the car lowered where you want it so you don't have to take it back and pay again. This may involve lowering, driving and letting the car settle several times until you are satisfied. Take before and after measurments and you can tell when settling has finished. Mine took about a week to settle but it's not a daily driver....
