Need help fast - headlights
My headlights will not pop up. The bulbs light but the doors don't come up. Is it a relay problem or something else? If it's a relay does anyone have the part number? Thanks.

I did a search and found nothing similar. someone out there must have had this issue at one point. It's both sides that are not working. They did work intermittently this morning after several cycles of the headlight switch. They go down fine and there is no motor noise. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. I have electrical knowledge, I just need assistance locating the areas to check. The connectors are connected and not loose. Thanks.
Your not alone. Mine is doing the exact same thing but only when I have the twilight sentinel turned on. I am also hoping it is a relay but I haven't had any luck doing searches or from asking in a previous post. Good luck, I hope someone can shed some light on the situation (pun intended)

Mine are fixed. The positive battery terminal was corroded. I got the suggestion from a member on C5 General. Look under the "Headlight issues" post. Good luck.
Woo Hoo! That fixed it. The positive was snug but not tight. Moved it about 1/8th of a turn and everthing is all good.
Thanks for the heads up.
These forums are great
my headlights were doing the exact same thing. i just ran out into the garage and sure enough the positive cable was slightly lose. tightened it up and they seem to be working fine now.
Now i just need to figure out why my horn will not turn off (hit the horn and it stayed on, had to pull the fuse/relay).
