Tire sensor question?
I purchased some wheels off a 2000 vette and I have a 2001. Everything was cool for about a month, but now my DIC is reading "service tire monitoring system".
I know there where changes in the computer system from 2000 to 2001 and so my question is, are the 2000 sensors compatible with the 2001 computer and if not why was it fine for a month?

No, they are not compatible, the sensors changed in 2001, and I have no idea why it took that long for you to receive the error messages.. Very odd.
Were your original wheels/sensors perhaps sitting in the garage (in close proximity to the car) and you only made some short trips? Only rhing I can figure, but I still think you'd have gotten the error sooner.
