Default Help... Bad miss

Last night while just crusing along, the car started to miss badly.

First of all, I determined the cylinder in question is drivers side, second back from the firewall. Not sure of the cyl #. The header pipe is colder than the other seven.

I checked spark. Getting plenty. Shocked myself checking
Checked the plug. Looks fine. Nothing broken. Charcol grey color.
Then I checked the fuel injector. I switched with another hoping the problem would migrate to another cylinder so I could just replace the injector... NOT! Same problem, same cylinder.

So, I've determined is it most likely not a fuel or spark issue to that cylinder.

What does that leave me with? Valve or spring issue?

I am getting NO trouble codes.

I had heads and cam done about six months ago at AA corvette....

....pop the valve cover off on that side. Sounds like you may have a broken spring or rocker.

I did a compression check in that cylinder. Just fine.
I've switched the coil pack, wires, fuel injector, and plugs with the neighboring cylinder. Still same problem. :-(

It could be as simple as a faulty sparkplug. I've seen a used plug from another cylinder repeat the problem when swapped. Don't ask me why but we went through this on my sons f body.

Swapped out with a new one. No better. I'll probably bite the bullet and take it to the dealer for diagnosis.
