High oil pressure reading
This morning I drove to the store and I noticed my oil pressure gauge reading 80 lbs..I shut the engine off and restrted the car.The needle is stuck at about 55lbs with the engine off and jumped to 80lbs. when running.Anybody out there got a clue as to what may be wrong?

Bad pressure sensor. Very common problem. Do a search on this forum and you should get lots of "hits". It's not an expensive part (around $40ish). The "smoking gun" that the sensor is bad is that you get a pressure reading when the enjine is not running.
