Serial Data Tap??
I need to attach a module to the serial data system of my 2003 C5. One location I know is pin 2 of the Data Link Connector. The wiring diagram indicates this is a PPL or purple wire.
Is there somewhere else that I could splice into?
I'll be removing the center console and trim around the radio to install something else.

I know someone knowns the answer to this.
A little birdy has told me there are some cool things on the way that will need to connect to the serial data port.
May be for example a way to control your XM radio?
