C6 Headlight Retrofit on C5?

Here's a quick photoshop of C6 lights on a C5 some member made it awhile back... "Flame suit on".... but i think it looks 
better on the C5 than it does on the C6... and i know i know if i want a C6 buy a C6... i dont want my C5 to look like a C6... I just like the lights....

You could also get a set of C-West Rx7 fixed lamps. The C6 ones require citting of the hood, and custom moulding. It will be a 3,000 job easy.

Still popups, but very cool!
Manteuffel on the other Vette forum modded his stock headlamps to come up only about halfway, and to run a bi-xenon (hi/low) HID projector & and halogen driving lamp. Looks pretty cool, and a cheap mod if done with conventional halogen lamps.

I don't think making C6 headlights fit on a C5 will work!
Too much work to make the new hood and front bumper.
Look at the BBP headlights and Mits 3000GT. There's should be enough room to make non pop-up headlights for C5 look like 3000GT.

Somebody'll take the stock C6 lights and put them in a custom housing with the electronics soon enough.
Maybe even Breathless or SpecterWerkes will adapt the kits they already make.
