Drain Utters for Air Intake
Appreciate the hint on cleaning out the utters under the Air Intake screen on my 99.
Bought it totally reconditioned and after checking the utters found that they had leaves and other crapola
in them.
Folded the slots in them back and got them cleaned out.
I know they sell kits (filters) that you can put in place to keep out the junk, but after seeing one, I just took some felt like material, my wife picked up at Home Depot or Lowe's that can be cut to fit under the heating vents in the house and cut out a piece to fit over the existing screen.
I used Velcro to hold it in place and it appears to be working quite nicely.
Air Flow is not restricted in the least.
With fall coming on it's a good thing to check those teats and get them cleaned out.
