My parking brake broke on me a few days ago it does not click when you pull it up like the gear is not engaging?

common with the C5s... ya need to get the e-brake readjusted.

requires removing rear wheels, calipers (need to breaker bar to loosen a PIA bolt) and adjust the starwheel that controls position of the ebrake drum.

Your have a broken E-brake handle/ratchet... you will need to replace broken parts either by dealer or call the Kar Shop (forum vendor) for used parts.

When your setup is working again you can adjust the parking brake shoes by removing the rear rotors as others here have mentioned.

Hey Nolag, you may want to call your dealer on this, some body posted a thread a while back and said that this E brake problem is a safty issue with GM and should fix it for nothing
