I just really love the way it feels. Stiffer but also smother over bumps. And MUCH more stable. My biggest fear was that it would negatively affect the touring ride for my long commute to work, but it is so much nicer now.
Glad I took other's advise, and I can't recommend these mods enough to those on the fence.

The tunnel plate and the zo6 stabilizer bars sound great. Is this a costly mod? And is it something someone with average mechanical ability could take on or better to have a pro do work? Are these parts available from some forum vendors? Thanks, Scott

No, not expensive really. My stainless steel tunnel plate was $165 and the Z06 bars were $168 ($228 if your car is older than 2002 and you need new metal links).
As far a difficulty to install, not at all, even for a novice if you just follow the instructions you can find on-line. The tunnel plate instructions are from another member on another thread I started so search on my handle. The Z06 stabilizer bars install is on www.ls1howto.com and very easy.
About 2 hours for the tunnel plate (having a second pair of hands helps a lot) and about an hour for the sway bars. I take my time though and am not in a rush. The only real warning is on the exhaust removal from the exhaust manifold. Make sure you slap on some anti-seize compound before you take the nuts off and put back on. This will prevent doing what I did which is snap a stud.
Hope this helps. Great mods. My car feels SOOOOO solid now.
Brad
