For a stock to mildly modded F-body I would go with a Z06 clutch. Many have posted problems with the above listed clutches and there is no need to go aftermarket with only mild mods. The Z06 is cheaper and comes with a flywheel and is zero balanced.
i have the z06 clutch and it lasted about 5k miles before the pedal started to stick to the floor w/ my long tubes, 4.10s and vararam. I had a new z06 slave and master put in and the drill mod done too. I also insulate the line by my long tubes.
I just had a SPEC pressure plate housing crack..... one of the bolt mounting areas was almost off the whole assembly.
The pressure plate face itself was fine.
This had been in there for about 2 years.
There was often some sporadic chatter when comiung off a dead stop.
Now have a twin disc Exedy. Pricey, but really nice.
No chatter, smooth engagement. Very short throw clutch.
I have the Z06 Clutch and flywheel and have about 25+ launches on it.
No problems to speak of. I'm also running about 525 crank hp. Z06 clutch should be more than adequate for your application in MHO.
