tool kit
Looking to put together a basic tool kit for an '04 coupe. Seeking information from all the experienced shade tree types on the forum as to what you use the most often. Thanks.

The vette is so darn dependable, I am not sure what to enclose.
Perhaps a spare accessory belt and 15 mm socket.
An emergency radiator hose repair kit.
Jack, pucks and socket for removing a rim.
Flashlight
Ratchet, pliers Phillip's and straight screwdriver.
Single spark plug wire.
Duct tape and electrical tape.
Socket for battery cables.

Since i got a new car.........nothing! what I have 3/8 & 1/4 sockets in a small package. metric wrenches 13mm, 15mm, 17mm. 19mm 1/2 drive short extension 1/2 torque wrench. screw drivers. big c clamp to compress the caliper pistons. mighty vac, small compressor 12v. tire pressure gauge, plug kit, rags, hand cleaner, mechanics gloves, adjustable wrench 8inch.
all of this is in a 22 inch plastic tool box from sears.
I put it in when on a trip.
best tool though is AAA and a cellphone! that said i haven't used a darn thing since i got my Z06.
might use them on a track day though along with a set of front pads!
