Removing/inspecting HVAC fan?

Removing/inspecting HVAC fan?
...I havent peeked down there yet but thought I'd ask here, how easy is it to get to the HVAC fan so I can inspect it? At the minimal setting, it squeeks and if I turn the fan off, it stops so this leads me to believe its the fan. Hopefully I can cure it with grease but if not I"ll replace the fan. Any advice?

Very east to get to. It is right under the passenger closeout panel. A few bolts holding it in, although not real fun to re-install. I had a friend who had a mouse nest in his and it caused a lot of problems.

Yeah you're right it was pretty easy to get out but a pain to get back in.
Fortunately I have a small body and small hands so I could contourt myself under the dash to reinstall the unit.
I found LEAVES! in the blower motor part! Good lord I wonder how they got in there. I took them out and reinstalled, so far no sound!
