I would like to be able to disable the antilock brakes for OT events. Is there a way to kill power to a module? Is rerunning brake lines the only option?

I think there's a fuse you can pull - I recall they did that at the Bragg-Smith school so the students could see the difference in braking with and without ABS system.
My anti lock brakes have saved my butt many times. and saved my tires from being flat spotted or worse a blow out.
He wants it for racing. A good driver will do better w/o ABS brakes. ABS does not make you stop faster on a dry track. It helps you steer while you are braking. (which you are really not supposed to do when racing)

Chris
what level of racing is he at. It's my understanding that even the ALMS C5-Rs still have ABS
You particularly want to disable ABS in the event of a spin.
You ever hear the expression 'In a spin, two/both feet in'?
When you spin the car you stand on the brakes, so that the car spins in a predictable direction. This allows other people to avoid you, and it will generally help you to not hit a wall. Most tracks are designed with run-off areas or gravel traps and such in strategic locations. You want to hit this locations, not the wall.
I don't know what C5Rs use but I highly doubt they have ABS. It has actually been a requirement at most tracks I go to, to disable ABS (usually instituted by the club itself).
Why would you need ABS anyway? You never come to a full stop (or even close to it). If you're locking the brakes up at 80mph you need better tires or you need to learn how to brake properly.
