max temp 150degrees norm?

max temp 150degrees norm?
during a 30min ride to work in the morning w/ oat of 20-35degrees the car doesn't get past 150, on the way home at oat of 50degrees get up to 175, t-stat maybe flowing too much, it gets up to 190-195 in the summer, whats involved in swapping the tstat

hmm
stock thermostat should not even be open at 150, I forget exact temp it opens but it is above 180 I believe, can someone chime in on this. I am watching the new build/drag show on the history channel, buick gran nationals tonight so I am not in the search mood. good luck sounds like the thermostat may be stuck open.
