Default retractable hard top convertable kit?

I have seen two c5's with this kit, The hard top folds back in two parts hindged and loads into the car automaticaly and then it looks just like a convertable. up it looks like a Zo6.
how can i find this kit? does anyone know anything about it???

Hmmmm....I know exactly what you are talking about but I cant seem to remember the name of the company that does it. Let me think for a little bit and I'll figure it out.

Here are some pics from when they were set up at the Museum at the last Cruise-In. From what I remember, the conversion is something like $12,000-$15,000.

Its cool, but it seems a little high to me. For about 25% of that cost you could do something like a Caravaggio hard top.

Cool looking but I'll stick to my manual cloth top. Especially for 10K+.

Actually the price is not bad, considering it includes making your non-convertable into a convertable. Price is very much in line with what some shops charge to convert z06's into std. ragtops...

The 1998 Red coupe that was the vendor's display vehicle sold at Carlisle this year for $ 28,000. with 300 original miles ! Thats a fact.

I would love to have a hard top that would allow me on the track. I just can't spend that kind of money for a top. Maybe Santa will think of me this year.
