Help!! Red AlertT! "E" Brake Problem!
Got my rear rotors off...left was a chore! Used the E brake star wheel adjustment and finally got the rotor off...Now theres some kind of spring rattling around inside the ebrake...how do you remove those shoes and how is the spring secured!!!

The manual tells you to pull the backing plate which is a huge job. There are a couple of folks here who have snuck the wave spring back in without doing that. If I remember correctly, I copied one of those threads and saved it on my home computer "just in case" for future reference. It was posted by "WhiteC5Vette" who you may be able to e-mail directly if you can't get an answer.
