02 sims are designed for rear O2 replacement only with the front two left alone. The only codes they eliminate are the Bank 1 & 2 sensor 2 codes.

O2 sims have a square plug right?? that will fit in the front sensor location.i was told you break 4 codes when you drop the front sensors or rear.the sims take care of two codes.soooo the engine light will still come on even with the sims???? is this all true???? if it is ,why buy sims???? any input thks.

I'm confused as to why you are putting the sims in the front O2 locations. Is there a reason why? Putting O2's in the front two locations will cause problems because the PCM require the 2 front O2's for operation.

with LGM headers you take the back sensors to the front and sim the front.the front wires are to short to tie into the headers.with their headers there is no post cat bungs.what i would like to know is will the sims keep the engine codes satisfied as to not brake any codes????

You need to be taking your rear 02 sensors and plugging them into your front 02 plugs. The front 02's need to be working. As long as your sims are plugged into the rear 02's you will be good to go

Ahhh... gotcha. Now I understand. To answer your question.. yes, it should. The sims will handle the rear O2 code from coming on and by switching the stock O2's this should prevent the "O2 switching code" from coming on.

No the sims will not keep all O2 error codes away. You MAY get the slow switching error from the front sensors, P0133 and P0153. I still get these even after switching the higher wattage rear sensors, which were brand-new. I called LG twice and emailed them several times about this. I never got any kind of response or reply, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

In my case there have been no codes, no engine light etc...from having the sims in place (I also have LG headers). Keep them as far as possible from the headers to protect from heat damage. I wrapped mine in thermal reflective tape and positioned them as far from the pipes as sposs. NO CODES, 9 months! Make sure that when you put the O2 sensors back on that you now route the driver side to the driver side pipe and the pass. one to the pass. side!!!!
