I am debating on which roller rockers to use.
Criteria are:
1)Ease of installation (don't want to do too much grinding or cutting)
2)performance gains
3)quietness
4)durability
I am currently contemplating the Jesel 1.8 competition series, or the Crane 1.8 gold race extuded, or the Yella Terra 1.8's.
Does anyone have experience with any of these; good or bad?
Thanks.
Same here. Harland Sharps. I had to clear the Rearmost driver side one, but only because of the 5.3 L heads I have. I understand the LS1/6 heads have better clearance.
I have another thread on here with similar questions. The Cranes seem to advertise they are very quiet and won't set off the knock sensors. I am not sure if they are all like that or there is something special about the Crane's. They also talk about progressive lift, but I think that is just the natural length change due to radius, not sure though. Comp Cams also has a new setup that is interesting as well.
I have 1:8 Jesels on my 00 coupe. They were installed with head/cam so can't say how much they added. Required some clearance grinding on the valve covers at one end but no big deal. These were recommended by APE who did my engine work.
