key fob has no range
I've noticed several times that my key fob does not have much in terms of range. Sometimes, it's just downright irritating as I can be right next to the car and still, it doesn't unlock/lock the car doors. It's very embarrassing seeing me do the robot man next to my car twisting remote control all different ways until I lock/unlock the doors. PS: I've already changed out the battery a month ago. Both of my fobs are acting the same way. Thanks for any advice on how I can deal with this.

maybe try a fob retrain? I forget the steps but it's in the manual and I think it's in the tech tips section too. Maybe it's not literally the range (i.e. transmit power) but the frequency may be slightly off so the car doesn't always sense it. Maybe a retrain will work.
