While the gaskets supplied by Dynatech are not GM gaskets, they are metal sandwich gaskets. I used them in place of my stock gaskets. So far, no leaks, no problems. Make sure to put them on with the rivets as shown in the instructions so you will not have a problem with the spark plugs. I thought that all the clamps, gaskets, bolts, etc. supplied with the kit were first class. Good luck with your install!
I've been told that the OEM are better from many Corvette owners, they only cost about $10. But you probably won't have any problems with either as long as you install them correct.
I went with the GM Camaro gaskets, they are shaped nice and round and are perfect for a header installation. They were recommended by Barry at QTP. You may want to consider them if you don't use the ones that came with the headers.

That's a good point. The 2001 and newer C5 gaskets have a rectangular shape and will cover some of the opening of the headers. The 2000 and earlier C5 gaskets are the same as the Camaro and best.
Sounds like another reason to just stick with the SuperMaxx gaskets, but thanks for the info. Gotta love this forum...(though a decent search function would be nice, 'cough' 'cough')
