Default remotes will not stay programmed

I program both remotes and they work for about 6-12 hours then dont work? WTH? Anyone else have this or have a cure? Happened after LS1 edit and battery being disconnnected for about 2 days with cam and pulley install. Thanks

time for new remote batteries and or check your cars battery. Sometimes the corvettes electronics tend to go crazy when the battery is dieing or not a tight connection or tight ground connection.

I had the same problem, loose ground underneath battery, check all your grounds, someone here showed a pic, where all grounds are , do a search. Good luck , JIm.

I had this problem for years...... tried everything, nothing helped. Changing batteries, reprogramming won't help. I yanked the factory POS and replaced it with a Clifford Model RSIII Remote Start Security System. I've had the Clifford for almost 18 months....works all the time, and even has a button to remotely open the gas flap. It has a hidden backup battery in case a thief tries to cut your battery cable and steal your car. The factory unit is crap. GM knows it and has done nothing to correct it. Get the Clifford..... its worth the extra $$$$.

Cajun,my car does it too,but not that often. I just press the lock and unlock button for about 30 seconds till the horn blows and I am good to go. Mine does it after it has not driven for a couple of weeks, but not every time.
