Default port matching exhaust

would anyone have any experience port matching their exhaust manifolds. looking to get a little more power without going the header route, so i was thinking of the port match and gutting the precats on my 00. would the results justify the effort. also is there any way to increase the opening in the stock-h- pipe. thanks for any info! If amyone has a complete 02 or 03 zo6 exhaust sytem fpr sale without the mufflers(i already have them) i would be interested .

Any method of increasing the CFM flow potental of an intake or exhaust will help HP. Your engine and exhaust system is a mass produced item. There will ALWAYS be some material that you can trim to make it better! Is it worth it? Why of course it is! If you do not want to spend money on MODS, a little time on the stock bolt on stuff will get you a few more HP! The total increase will not be much but there will be an increase!

I thought that I would NEVER pull the trigger on an exhaust mod! I got a deal on a COMPLETE Stainless Works 3" exhaust system with LT headers! Man, they are SWEET! Now I wonder what took me so long!!!

If you want the best flow out of your STOCK system, GO FOR IT!

You might pick up 4-5 HP and some TQ but ,,,,,,,,IT'S a LOT of work!

bill its not a question of the money i just want to keep the car as close to stock as i can tolerate. I am considering a complete z06 exhaust i already have the ti mufflers but not sure if my mods would do about the same. did you notice a big change in your car with the new exhaust?.
