It was a nice day yesterday so i thought i would take the vet for a little ride, it has been setting in the garage for a couple weeks. Took off flipped on the heater fan, it vibrated so bad it shook the whole car, scared the heck out of me. Anyone have ant ideas what this would be or how i can get in there to see whats going on. It was fine when i parked it. I have no idea and its worrying the heck out of me. Thanks guys
I do not know...perhaps a coincidence with an engine studder.
Yet, the fan housing is easy to remove and inspect. There could be small debris in there, but heavy vibration seems odd. Perhaps I bearing exploded on the fan vanes?
Under passenger dash 3 10mm bolts, a vacuum hose and electric connection as I recall.
Thanks for the reply Kenny. Ill see if i cant get in there, i just wonder if a mouse could have gotten in there ? I keep the car shut up and covered while in the garage. Thanks again
I had the same problem until a week ago when I removed the blower motor to find the remains of a full mouse nest sitting in the fan. I removed all the crap and cleaned the fan blades and reinstalled - now I can't even hear it run! It's easy to take out (I don't remember them being 10mm bolts but could be different on yours) just three bolts and disconnect the water drain hose. I had mine out in less than ten minutes (spent most of that time looking for the right socket!) Good luck man. It's an easy fix!

Same thing happened to a friend of mine. The nest had four small baby mice in it that went for one heck of a ride prior to them expiring Then the car started to stink. They usually get in on the driver's side under the cowl. Look for a pee trail or mouse crap
