Not many people use 19" for competition. It is usually 17 or 18". This is due primarily to the fact that you want to limit the inertial weight of the wheel. ie. it is harder to accelerate and decelerate a wheel that has its mass further away from the centerline.
I just bought 18" wheels for this reason along with the much greater selection or R compound tires.
Thank you for the info, I was just curious to see if there was anything out there, or will be there in the near future since a lot of new performance cars are carrying 19's out back from factory. I'll give it 1-2 more years I guess

Sure they make competition tires in 19"s. There are quite a few to choose from. Go to tirerack.com, just for starts try the pirelli p zero corsa competition.
There treadware rating is 140 and not quite a competition (but better than 220 for most sports car tires).
My current wear rating is 100, so it would have to be comparable. Also, I couldn't find any above 295 in that size, and I would prefer a 305-315, especially with the higher wear rating.
Sorry I didn't clarify...
OOPS! Just saw the Pzero Corsa in 315 with a rating of 60 Wont last long on the street but still a new option!! I guess the fact that they are really slim at 25.5 inches tall might be a problem also...
