Default What sealant to use?
The factory manual states use sealant when replacing the weatherstrip on removable top; however, it does not specify what sealant. Could someone please tell me what sealant and where to get it? It is black.

The best I have found is 3M weather strip adhesive. It is available in black or yellow. Be careful it is stringy and tenacious, hence the nickname "yellow death".

i replaced the w/s on my coupe,, used gm black,,easy job,, take your time when removing and youll be ok when installing new..
