Default Finally pulled the trigger on H/C.....

After muchhhhhh deliberation about S/C vs H/C. I went H/C. Xtreme in Tempe will be doing the install . Already have CAI, LT Headers, X-pipe, no cats, bullets, 3:42, and stock wheels. Will be going with AFR's 205, and a LARGE cam, something about the size of the G5X-3, and upgraded valvtrain parts. They say about 435-445 rwhp on this crap 91 gas out west . Once the check book cools off, i'm sure ill be back for 90 mm intake and throttle body for moreeeeee power .
Anyone want to guess the numbers? Winner get a

The S/C route would have just had me wanting to up the pulley, forge the internals, and do more work etc..... after the H/C i am done with the engine now, just get some better drivetrain parts, and 10's here i come . To those who have boost though, i salute u, either way its win win for the vette. ........................................ ........................................ ................sorry for the long post

Good choice on the installer. Xtreme knows what they're doing. They seem to like to give you an estimated RWHP number and then deliver more on the finished product.

Good choice, the numbers sound awesome This is the direction I want to go in the future. Keep us posted on the final numbers. And how Xtreme does with the work and customer support. I've been leaning towards going to LAPD for my mods, but Tempe is in my neighborhood.

Ok......Hmmm my guess is 449 RWHP. Congrats on the H/C package you'll really like it. A set of gears will really wake the car up as well.
I have had a H/C in my coupe for about 6 months and it take real restraint not to constantly get on it. Beware.....power is addictive it seems you always want more. Now I'm starting to think about a 427 or 383 stroker motor I guess I'll have to join "Modders Anonomous".
