Slapped my AFR's together from a bare 205 CNC casting and assembled parts ordered from AFR, ie: seals, valves, etc and used CC918's.

Didn't think to check the machining and trusted they would be good from AFR as we didn't mill them.

No problems so far.

Hey Guys...

I didn't realize we had the same topic going on as well on this forum.

Please check out the link below (LS1 Tech) where I address most of these issues and speak a little bit about our return policy etc.

PLEASE...Give us the chance to evaluate any issues regarding our product that you don't feel is right. Mistakes are sometimes made and if thats the case we will make them right....We are honest people and we stand behind our product. In regards to this particular thread I am still uncertain whether there were any legitamate issues with both of these cylinder heads. I have not been contacted by either party with exact specifics concerning some of the issues mentioned.

Bottom line....if you feel you have an issue or a problem with your heads, please contact AFR first and allow us the oppurtunity to evalute the situation....Trust me when I tell you you will be far better off in the long run.

Here is that link....

I seem to have created somewhat of a big deal and that was never my intention. I was just asking a question...

Tony, I will call you and give you all of the info that I have about what was found, what was done, and why. Thanks for your offer to take a look at the heads. The heads have been on and the engine reassembled since late last week.

Regards,
Mark Forbes
