Default Looking for 12v for a Flameball....

I am hoping to get some expertise for wiring a flameball. Where do I find 12 volts to power the L.E.D. in the shift ****????
Thanks, Randy

One 12v supply you can use is in the passenger side foot well fuse panel. It is a switched connection which is what you should use for the shift **** light.

Here's a link to a write up & photos in the Tech Tips section that will show you where it is. (This shows wiring a V1 but will also work for your purpose.)

Thanks guys,
I guess I was hoping for a source under the console, like the trac control button or something like that. Less wire fishing.....

Best location is the traction control button. You need to get the ground and 12V switched from this location. It will also dim the flameball w/ the dimmer switch. I believe it's a brown and orange wire.

It's been awhile but I'm pretty sure the orange wire was power
