if all you want is 50rwhp i would suggest the LGM long tube headers, a vararam intake, new exhuast, and a dyno tune. The cost breakdown would be as follows:
LG headers: $1750
V - intake: $350
Exhaust: $800
If you want a professional to do the work you are probably looking at another $1000 plus in labor costs. So for around $3500-4000 you can easily pack in 50 rwhp. The tune would be another $500, but perhaps the shop will throw it in for free with installation. Peace

Oh I see you are from new jersey. Head out to long island and visit the Vette Doctors for the installation. I dont think heads and cam are the first mods I would venture into. That is really the point at which mod costs start to skyrocket and you really need concrete plans as to what you want to do with the car (autocross, drag, etc)

if you buy just the ring and pinon $300-380 but then you have to find someone to install them in your rear end.
I will guess $500 for the install.
