I tried a search with "universal joint" and "U-joint" but came up short. I was curious if anyone has had a U-Joint problem on a C5. If so, what was the problem/cause and how much to fix? Mine is a '03 MN6 and I'm investigating a strange clicking noise in the passenger rear tire area. I'm in the process of replacing sway bars (today) with OEM stock and then on to greasing spline and lube/re-torque axel nut...after that (if the noise is still there) I think I need to start looking at the u-joint???

Yeah, but CV joints letting go within 36,000/3years? If they try to give you that one then I'd look for another dealer. Pronto!
Seriously, try the axle shaft splines as mentioned by n2spd. I've seen several posts about this matter over the last couple of years, including a response from C5TECH about this. HTH
