I just bought an 02 convert, there was a problem with the alternator and they replaced it, then the battery was not good so I got a new battery too. I drove it home (1.5hour drive) with no issues, shut it off and restarted it many times without issue. Then I put it in the garage and I think I thought I was hearing humming noise but wasnt sure. 2 days later I went out to start the engine and the battery was totally dead. Any Ideas what might be draining the battery? There were no lights on or anything like that. Now I am recharging the battery but still need to find out why it died in the first place.
I got the battery charged, battery gage reads a little over 13. Ran for a while and was able to stop and restart engine. However, If I sit in the car with it off and keys out of ignition, I can hear a quiet humming noise that sounds like its coming from behind me. I sat there for 5 minutes or so and it never goes away. Not sure what it is. Does anyone have thoughts on this? Thanks again for any help.

Fuel pump is "behind u" but I don't see why it would be pumpin . . .
Thanks for your help guys. I went back and heard the noise again, inside my garage I could hear it better. It was the lumbar control for the drivers seat. When I pulled it up the noise stopped. I pulled the fuse for it and the noise went away. I'll let it sit tonight and try to start it in the AM but I think that may have been the issue. Now to get the dealer to fix it. Thanks again.
