Time for tires

I'm looking at the Nitto 555RII's all around. Anyone sell these at a great price (305/35/18 & 275/40/17"s) How do they hook up in the 1/4 mile as opposed to Dr"s?

RII's are for cornering. Their stiff sidewalls won't hook as well as drag radials.

I have the GYSC tires on my Z06 rims and I'm looking for a good replacment that will give me better hook up than these. I don't want to have to go out & buy DR's & rims right now. I'm looking for a good road tire that will outperform the SC's in straight line and at least be equal to the SC's in cornering. With an A4, sy3500, 3:42, and ~380rwhp I need more grip. I,m reading good things on these tires and hope they outperform my present set up. I was thinking toyo's as a good driver tire but feel the nitto's will control the power a little better?
