My car just started to make a clunking/poping sound this morning. It seams to only happen when I am going real slow. Actualy when I am backing out of a parking space, when the wheel is turned sharp a clunk/pop occurs. You can feel it in the steering wheel. Is this something to worry about? Is it a wheel bearing, or a bad sway bar end-link? I know that the back endlinks did go bad and it would pop.
The more I think about it the more I think that it is the end-link. I mean look my car has 90,000 miles and has the plastic end-links (well the front does, I replaced the back a few months back). When I replaced the rear ones the bushings were all wore out. I just want to make sure it was not a bad wheel bearing.
I have the same problem in my 04 with a base suspension....it started to makes ckunking noise when I turn left going slow. I hear these clunking noise in the front passenger side. I'll check my end links tommorow...this is no good.
