Removal of the rear driveline is not necessary for either model, but lowering of the rear subframe is beneficial for additional clearance when installing the A4 kit due to the more compact fitment of the automatic transmission in the Corvette's torque tube tunnel.
Can it be installed without lowering the rear subframe? Is attempting the install in my driveway a mistake?

PHIL,
My 427 MTI C5R vert with auto trannny, makes so much torque if i launch at the track with slicks/drag radials on, that my entire rear end diff housing unit (the pumpkin), flexes upwards, ripping itself away from the transmission and actually stripped away the top bolt threads on the rear of the tranny, where the diff housing unit connects to, and needless to say, this caused catostrophic driveline damage which i fixed and as you said it was NOT CHEAP!!
Will your A4 wheel strut brace cure my problem of the rear end flexing up upon hard launch scenerios!!!

Thanks for your reply. If i end up keeping the car and don't sell it this upcoming season, then this is the very first additional mod i will be doing on m 427 C5R Vert, b/c with my hard hitting Yank Prothruster 4000 and the big cube torque being multiplied on top of that, my car just HITS TO DARN HARD at launch!!!
