Long vs. shortie headers
What is the difference in performance gains between the long tube headers and the shorties? Also what is the gain over stock? Are high flow cat's recomended? Thanks in advance.

If you can find shorties used (like I did) they are a bargain; easy to install, no re-tune necessary, etc.. I gained a solid 10 HP / TQ from my B&B's.

Car craft just did a write up on shorties and mid lengths on C5's. On the engine dyno they gain approx. 1hp with mid lengths.

KOOKS headers are among the best long tube headers on the market. Don't waste your money on shorty headers.

1 hp with mid length? I assume those are the shorties? Does kooks give you any idea what kind of power they produce?
