Default Vette Doctors

I had some questions regarding Cam selections for my "04" a while back.
Some of you guys suggested I contact the Vette Doctors, which I did.

They asked me a couple of questions, one being who was doing the work.

When I replied with my answer I never heard from them again. I'm in the Chicago area and using the Vette Doctors is not an option.

My question is, do they only help you out with advise if they are going to benefit from the work?

In their defense, I have never gone to them, but here they are really good. The tuners around here are ridiculously busy, if they forgot to call you back, Im sure it wasn't intentional. IMHO

I am certain it is nothing personal. I have spoken with them about projects I planned with my '96 impalaSS and Carmen and Dennis were happy to give me suggestions even though I never did the work on that car.

In spite of being very busy they always treated me great when I visited their shop. I am sure they just forgot to get back to you.

I doubt they’re ignoring you purposely, it’s not their style.

They probably aren’t able to get to it because of pain in the @ss customers like me keep bothering them.

I called them a dozen times with 573 questions, and carmen has alway given me direction. My car is going there for the cam installation as soon as I get off my lazy *** and get the car there. I stopped by the shop and shot the poop. Ive also bought kooks from them. They never made me feel like I was taking up to much of their time. :thumbs

Now I have to move to northern VA, and find a equal shop because I dont think you'll find better.

I need to get my cam in before I move

I think it might well have been an oversight on their part. I have met Carmen and he seems like a very genuine individual. I know he gives out advice to many over the phone, even if they don't end up doing the work at his shop. Not at all unlike the guys at TTP, Cartek and ECS, who are also very willing to take time out of their busy schedules to talk to folks from this as well as other forums about their cars and how to address certain issues with them. We in the tri-state area are EXTREMELY fortunate to have these superb tuning shops so close to where we live.

I think the best time to call would be first thing in the morning....before he gets wrapped up in his projects.

Default Hey quimbo!

Maybe you should read all of the responses before you show your IQ.
What's wrong, did you get evicted from your trailer park today?

"I Always Give People the Benefit of The Doubt"

Well. . . maybe not in your case!

"I Always Give People the Benefit of The Doubt" IF THATS WHAT YOU MENT IN THE FIRST PLACE YOU WOULDNT HAVE POSTED YOUR ARROGANT STATEMENT AND I QUOTE do they only help you out with advise if they are going to benefit from the work? REMEMBER THIS CAME FROM YOUR THOUGHTS. AND TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION

Why someone would post something like this is beyond me?

Default Hey Gumby!

You know what they say?

"It's better to remain silent and be thought a fool, then open your mouth and prove it"

Hopefully your car isn't as slow as you are or you be going backwards.

I rest my case!

PAL!
