i think i broke something
for the 1st time today i put the car in competive mode and floored it 
, the wheels spend and then the car rearend start jumping 
. at which i let off, right away i got a service traction error and a abs error. i clear the codes car runs fine but i wonder!!!!!!

I did the exact same thing when I first got my 98 
It shook the daylights out of the rear suspension! 
Got the same codes and lighs! 6 years later she is still doing fine! 
The wheel hop is not good but I have learned how to keep it from happening so much! I still get it from time to time but it is rare! If you let the clutch out just enough to take the lost motion out of the drive train and when you let out the clutch, bring the power on smoothly!
I dont get much wheel hop any more! It's all technique
