I have an 02 sensor sitting infront of me and it does not use an O ring. It uses a stepped rubber piece that fits into the hole in the rim. Is your TPS the new style or the old wing style? I'm not sure what type seal is on the old style.

Well his car specs show he has a 2000 coupe, so the sensors are the old style that use the o-ring.

#9 o-rings from Home Depot. Make sure you torque the retaining nuts to the correct spec.

I got mine from a Chevy House but they didn't come in package marked with any size. These things are a PITA so buy extras and be prepared to have leaks if you don't get them to set correctly the first time around. When I had the Mallet wheels mounted I had to change the rear passenger o-ring 3 times to get it sealed and stop a slow leak.

Subject: Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Grommet/Seal Availability
Source: Chevrolet Dealer Technical Service Bulletin
Number: 03-03-10-004 - (04/07/2003)
Models: 1999-2003 Chevrolet Corvette
2000-2003 Cadillac DeVille, DHS, DTS, Seville

Important
Do not replace the wheel mounted Tire Pressure Monitoring Module if the grommet requires replacement. Replace only the grommet.

The above vehicles may include an on-wheel tire pressure monitoring module that is an integral part of the tire valve stem. This system utilizes a replaceable grommet at the wheel air valve opening. If this grommet becomes damaged or unserviceable, order GM P/N 25715243 for a replacement. DO NOT replace the wheel mounted Tire Pressure Monitoring Module.

Part Number: 25715243

Description: Grommet, Tire Valve

GM bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, NOT a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform these technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions, and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, DO NOT assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See your GM dealer for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
