putting 342 gears in a 273 diff??

I have a free 2.73 coming this week. I will be looking at 3.73's in that bad boy. 
I know DTE does it however, a member here said he knows where to get the needed parts to do the work. Hopefully he will see this post and reply so I know where to get whats needed before I dig in. DTE has the super duty clutch packs on sale.

Unfortunately it can't be done, you have to have a carrier from a 3.15 or greater axle ratio
DTE has been doing this for at least a couple years now. And they warranty their work. It does take some special machining and a unique "spacer" that they manufacter themselves - but it is done... and done right by them.
The more options available to us Corvette owners... the better
