okay, just for grins how do i remove the rear calipers to paint them?
i spin the 2 bolts till im blue in the face and their not coming out?
whats the trick?

Sounds like you may be spinning the pin, rather than the bolt. There is a flat on the pin that might be obscured from view by the rubber boot. You need to put a wrench on the pin flat to hold it while you loosen the bolt holding the caliper.
Look at the pic below and you'll see the flat on the inside of the caliper tab that the bolt goes through. Use a wrench to hold the flats and turn the bolt head at the same time.

If you don't have these off yet, I am pretty confident the rear caliper bolt is 15mm and the flat on the pin/shaft is 16mm. As stated above, the flat on the pin/shaft is normally under the rubber boot and you have to compress it to get to the flat.
