Upgraded diff clutch packs
Im going to have my rear apart to install hardened output shaft. Is there any type of upgraded clutch pack assembly for these. Just trying to cover everything in one shot. Im not pushing major HP but I figure since it will be open.

We do have a HD Getrag differential clutck pack available as well as HD clutch pack pre-load springs.

Two kits required for each differential
- DTE HD Clutch Pack Preload Spring Kit: $49.99/pair
One pair for each differential

I may be wrong but I believe the DTE upgrade is simply a heavy duty belleville washer, not the entire clutch pack. The HD washer provides added pressure to the clutch packs which adds more clamping force which will provide less slip but the actual cluch packs are OEM.

Im not pushing major HP, but neither are two of my buddies whos diffs failed because of a badly prepped water box. I think I only need some extra clamping pressure. Ill be calling you guys later, thanks

I would say that if you're taking your diff apart to install a hardened long shaft it would be worth another $50 for these DTE washers although it adds a little complexity to the job since the right side washer is behind the spider gears and requires compressing the existing washer to get them out.
