Hud

I have a 98 and want to put a hud in it is the wiring harness in the dash ? will there be any problems because i don't have that special windshield?

I think the windshield is required. It has a coating on it, from what I understand.

Just finished adding a HUD to my 97 coupe. If you have a 97, 98 and most of the 99 you will need to purchase the speedometer cluster along with the HUD assembly. There is a wiring harness that runs between the two. No additional wiring is needed. If you do a search on adding a hud or look in: https://www.corvetteforum.com/techti....php?TopicID=1
under "Installing a HUD" you'll find alot more information. I bought everything needed from Gene's Karshop, great guy to deal with! BTW mine shows up just fine with the standard windshield.

Installed a HUD in my '98 last summer. No need to install HUD windshield. The non-HUD windshield works fine. Good luck w/ your project----It's really a

add on.
