Default New Dyno #'s

Well after getting my car back after 2 months because of a blown diff and tranny (tranny still not right) I had the car retuned at L.A.P.D. last Saturday. I put the stock gears back in the car, and Charlie worked his magic. The final numbers were 393.8 RWHP and 378.4 RWTQ. My mods are TPIS HEADERS, MEZIERE W/P, UNDERDRIVE PULLEY, NO CATS, STRAIGHT PIPE AND TRAP. Just imagine if I would have had the worlds "Most powerful header", I would have been over 400 RWHP which I'm sure would have been a record. My car was down 17 rwhp and 15 rwtq because of the dealer flashing the PCM. Now if I could get the tranny to work and actually drive the car it would be great. Just wanted to say thanks to L.A.P.D and
Charlie for a great tune.

AND YES, THEY ARE CORRECTED #'S

This is not uncommon at all on 03-04 zo6's. Ask Al, he was standing right there.

Thanks Shawn. Let me know how much I owe you for the re-tune. I'll be seeing you in the two months for some kind of blower. Already talked to Charlie about it.

vettethret,

The re-tune is very minimal and if you are going to go further with your powertrain upgrades which I know you will, we will discuss the re-tune when you sign up for a supercharger or our ultimate H/C set-up currently in the final stages. You will love it and when you drive our 2004 Z06 equipped with it, you will want that set-up!

Thanks again and we hope to see you soon!

Shawn

Very nice numbers and beautiful car. Guess you need to get your tranny fixed up asap, best of luck with that.

I would imagine that your BABY IS REALLY LOUD with long tubes and no cats and straight pipe. I am contemlating long tubes and no cats but am to conservative for getting pulled over by the MAN for LOUD EXHAUST like i'm a 21 year old kid when i a double that age.

HOW LOUD Is this set up with normal slow driving through town with rpms under 2000 and how loud at 3500 and of course WOT!!! IS IT OBNOXIOUS like i would imagine it to be!!!

Thanks bro. It's pretty bad between 2200-2600 rpm but you can shift around it. I personally wouldnt have it any other way but its definatley not for the average Joe. I've actually had cops pull me over to tell me how good it sounds. Of course when I see the fuzz I generally let off the gas or put it in neutral to be safe. Cobra 4b drove it, IM him and get his take.

As soon as I get some dough back in the bank after my house purchase I'm coming after you Stano! You've had a faster car for way to long now!

Stano, as long as it's free you'll be there, right?

I'll take anything I tuned, at any time against your tuner.

Sincerely,

Your last "best tuner" (you know the guy after A&A, Halltch, etc.)
