Radar detectors

Does anyone have experience or information on the SOLO S2 radar/laser detector?

Actually it should be asked in the Audio/Electronics area where all the other radar detector info can be found (just as the wheels and tires questions should be asked . . . in the Wheels & Tires area, etc.). Agreed, though, that it has nothing to do with C5 Tech.

Hey Bruce, My neighbor had a Solo and changed to an Escort 8500X50 to get the max range, he does a lot of cross country driving and swears by the 8500. If you look back a week or two ago there are some threads on this site showing how to pick up power for a detector at the mirror, I think you will be happer going this way.
