Default TCS converters???

Anyone running a converter made by TCS? How do you like it, and have you had any problems with them? The converter Im looking into is a 3800 with a str of 3.0. The only thing that bothers me is that I was just on yanks website and they claim that they and precision industries are the only two converter manufacturers who actually test their converters stall rate on gms machine. ???

I have a (tight) TCS4200 2.7 STR. This converter is VERY streetable and I have not had any problems with it. I replaced a Yank ST3500 with the TCS4200,and there was a very noticeable difference in peformance with the 4200 both from a roll and from a stop. I like my TCS4200 alot, the downside is I believe TCS is no longer in business.

I have been to the track just once since installing the TCS4200 and I was kicked out after just one run (no roll bar). In spite of a very poor 1.72 60 ft. (I spun coming out of the hole, and my car was running too lean and nosed over on the 2-3 shift) I still managed my best time ever for my car 11.65 @ 118 MPH. I was running a CCW drag package with ET Steets, I have 3.73 gears. How do you like your TSP 231/237 cam? BTW what is TCS phone # is Derek still with the company?

Dont have the number on me, but I spoke with a Rusty yesterday. I love the cam, nice and lopey just how I wanted it, makes great power for a cam only. Now I just need to get my tranny issues on track.

I have heard very good things about the TSP231/237 cam, what kind of numbers are you putting down on the dyno and the track with your car?

I put down 35x rwhp, and this is with a tc that is not locking up, and a trans that is slipping and banging off the rev limiter. On the track with the bum trans and converter, I still squeaked out an 11.8. I'll get some real numbers when all this tranny crap is done with.
