I UNDERSTAND how the quench number is obtained but would a dished piston affect the the quench in anyway

While we are on the topic.....would it be wise for me to run a Thicker Gasket on stock Z06 heads for FI...I am running 10lbs of boost on all stock motor. No problems yet, but I think a little lower compression couldn't hurt.

Do your research, but I don't think cometics take well to lots of boost.
