Going to buy a C5

If your considering a used Z06, an 02 would be the one to get!! I have an 02 and it has been wonderful! I get 30 MPG on the highway (60 MPH easy driving) and it becomes wicked fast when you mash the gas!! 
I have had very few problems with the car and it is very dependable!! There should be more used C5's available as the C6's ramp up production and the new convertable C6's and C6 Z06 comes out soon!!
You hear all of the stories about serious C5 issues! Some of them are self inflicted and a lot of the forum members fix the problems them selves. There is tremendous support here on the forum. There are some members who have well over 100,000 miles on their C5 and use their cars as daily drivers.
There are even dealers who deep discount repair parts! Every line of cars has issues! Your only hearing about the C5 problems cause your on this forum! I dont know if there is a Caddy or GTO forum but if there was, I bet they would be bitchin about serous problems of their own.
I never ever thought I would purchase a Z06 but now that I have I would not give it up for anything! In fact, I am going to purchase an 07 Daytona Sunset Orange C6 Z06, as soon as one is available!
