traction control vs lmt slip
In wet conditions straight line would it work better to turn traction control off?

The traction control is an electronic feature that began showing up in the early 90s. TC senses that the rear tires are attempting to rotate faster than the fronts, (in other words they have already lost traction evenly) the traction control module then does one or more of the following, reduces the throttle, (this reduces power or torque to the rear), reduce timing, (again, to reduce power), and finally apply one or both brakes in the rear only, to help alleviate the wheel spin. That's the very simplified version of how both systems help the Corvette gain and/or maintain traction. Traction control is tied in with the active handling system, whereas the limited slip feature is a stand alone system.
