Z06 Ti Exhaust Mod
Has anyone tried to modify the Ti exhaust with a bypass pipe like the A&A mod? I guess the hard part would be finding some Ti exhaust pipe and someone who can weld Ti.

It has been done before, and I used to have a link, but I lost it. Do a search, and if you find it, please post up the link here. For welding Ti, you'll need a MIG or TIG welder, whichever one is better, I mix them up. It also really helps to weld them in a bath of argon, or else the weld point will be contaminated and will oxidize. It really shouldn't be that hard, and I think the hardest part will be measuring and cutting all the parts correctly the FIRST TIME. I've also heard this sounds very good. I'm tempted to do it myself, but I'm too much of a weight freak to allow myself to add any lbs to the car if it doesn't improve performance. As a point in case, I want to learn enough about suspensions so that I can totally eliminate the swaybars and still improve performance or at least not degrade performance during autocrosses. It's possible, but requires really good shocks, and a great suspension tuner.
